Up for auction is this very nice, ready to go Pioneer CLD-V740 laserdisc player set. The unit is in fantastic condition showing very little wear and is working excellent. All playback features including both sides play have been tested and are all working perfectly. Today, most Pioneer laser disc players have the grip rings that spin up and stop the disc begin to dry out and start slipping upon acceleration or braking. All my units including this one have fresh rubber grip rings installed and will not slip whatsoever (See last picture for closeup of the fresh grip ring). I also cleaned out the dust inside, replaced the disc loading belt, and carefully cleaned the laser lens. It is all set for reliable usage. Also included are RCA cables for hookup.
